Wii Fit Plus ist Deutschland?

When it comes to fitness, things don’t look too good in Germany. Nintendo has the answer: Wii Fit Plus. That’s because Wii Fit Plus and the Wii Balance Board are the fun way to get everyone moving.

To communicate the holistic benefits of these products, wolfandmotoori designed the contest “Wii Fit Plus ist Deutschland?” This large-scale competition began at the end of March 2010 and invites different target audiences to compete against others and prove just how “Wii Fit Plus” they are.

The campaign centres on a special microsite that fulfils many different functions. It describes the campaign in detail, calls for participation, accompanies the individual competitors during their tasks, and invites visitors to the website to get involved in a comprehensive customer participation scheme and take part in the campaign themselves – simply by voting for their favourite person or group and thereby increasing their prospects of winning the contest.

Yet there’s much more to “Wii Fit Plus ist Deutschland?”: wolfandmotoori was able to sign the well-known TV presenter Andrea Ballschuh as a testimonial. On the website, Andrea Ballschuh will guide users through the different stages of the campaign, explain the idea behind “Wii Fit Plus ist Deutschland?” to prospective participants and interested parties, and offer some insights into the world of Wii Fit Plus. What’s more, Andrea Ballschuh will also present some very special “Wii Fit Plus ist Deutschland?” Web TV shows. Every two weeks, she will interview fitness and health experts and report on the campaign’s latest developments.

The campaign will be accompanied by wide-ranging communication measures such as online banners, TV tag-ons, online articles and a long-term editorial special on the t-online website. In addition, advertorials in many high-circulation women’s magazines (GALA, JOY, InTouch, freundin, etc.) will advertise the campaign.
